Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Survey

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Survey

Please find information below relating to the latest Equality, Diversity and Inclusion survey and why we are asking you to fill it out.

RDA has a commitment to equality diversity and inclusion, and therefore we undertake annual staff and board equality monitoring.  This enables us to understand the demographics of our people and how changes occur over time.  It is also a fundamental part of meeting the Equality Standard for Sport, which is a requirement from the Sport England funding we receive from British Equestrian.

Please take a read of the helpful leaflet called ‘What’s it got to do with you?’ (below) which explains why organisations need to collect this type of information.

During the pandemic RDA did not survey staff and board, so our recorded data is from 2019. We now feel is the right time to update this data, but we would wish to also include all RDAUK contacts and coaches, for the very first time.

By you filling out this survey, it will also help us to understand who is in our sport, the communities we serve and how we can do better to engage more people from various demographics.   The only information we will ask from you is your RDA role so we can analyse the data.

It is possible that some people may feel some of the questions within this survey are quite personal but please be reassured that all surveys responses are completely anonymous, and we cannot identify any individual who completes this questionnaire.  All questions also have an option ‘prefer not to say’ which enables you to select that box if for any reason you are not comfortable in sharing that information, but we do encourage you to complete as much of the survey as you can.  Any information collected will only be presented in a collated form e.g. X% of our Regional Coaches are female and no reference will be made to an individual.

Please fill out the survey by Friday 10th December
